One of my succulents has been looking pretty shabby for awhile now. I figured it was probably the result of cold damage.
But today I hatched another theory.
Do you see these? ALL of these snails came out of that one pot, and I'm guessing there were probably more that I missed.
As angry as I was at them for ruining my pretty plant, I just couldn't bring myself to destroy them. Something about the sound of the shells crunching seemed like it would be akin to nails on a chalkboard.
Instead I opted for the "catch and release" method, flinging them into one of the wilder corners of the yard. Hopefully they'll stay there.
