Sometimes at work we get free plants, and Friday was one of those days.
I think the plants are typically leftovers from the trial garden installation or from research studies. Honestly, it doesn't matter to me. Look at all these great plants!
I got to take home five flats of six-inch pots, which probably would've cost me close to $200 at a nursery. I'm planning to install them in the beds I've been renovating.

As a grad student planting things from seed, I'm so envious that you have the "sweet connections" to get those flats of plants for your garden! I can't wait to see your blog pictures as you add those plants to your garden.
What! i am so jealous, I will randomly get a free sandwich but nothing as cool as free plants.
Man, you are soooo lucky!! How cool is that? Where do you work? I'd like to put in my application.
